In 2012 the Sports Engineering Research Group (SERG) at Sheffield Hallam Univeristy ran a exhibition in collaboration with the V&A’s museum of childhood and an Ingenious grant from the Royal Academy of Engineering called ‘Beautiful Games’. As part of this exhibition visitors were provided with the opportunity to submit a question to ‘Ask a Sports Engineer’. These questions were collected and answered on this blog, as outlined in the projects launch blog article .
